QuickBooks When you purchase QuickBooksâ it states on the package "No Accounting Knowledge Required". Well if you believe that I have some swamp land in south Florida that you may be interested in. The problem here is two-fold: If you have an accounting background but don’t know how to operate QuickBooksâ you’re in trouble. If you know QuickBooksâ but do not have an accounting background you’re in trouble. I have 30+ years experience in the accounting profession and 10+ years working with QuickBooksâ . I continue to learn something new every day because of different versions and releases of QuickBooksâ and periodic changes in GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures).
